Kama Oil Paints

January 23, 2023

My oil paints of preference now are Kama paints. They are made in Montreal. Kama paints have a heavy pigment load, a lot of tinting power. They're really thick so great for retaining brush marks and creating textures. I've used Winsor Newton Artist Grade oils and Gamblin oils. I don't see a lot of differences between Kama and Gamblin, except that so far Kamas have been thicker.
